Paradox Tables

Paradox tables are used universally - not just by Paradox application but many commercial products (especially those developed using Delphi) use them for their default database. Though generally robust things can go wrong, especially due to hardware or operator interruption of their normal functioning - like cutting power during a save operation. Such damage caused to tables can make them unreadable and, due to the unique structure of Paradox tables, difficult to recover.

However, a lot of data, and often all of the data, can be recovered by careful retrieval and reconstruction.

Special tools have been developed to do this and in combination with manual inspection and manipulation, a very high recovery rate has been achieved for tables that have previously been considered beyond recovery. Many clients have benefited from this service but due to the confidentiality of such a recovery process, they cannot be listed.

Paradox tables have a very powerful encryption when password protected which makes them a good repository of secure data. However, if the password is lost or forgotten or the internal encryption keys become corrupted, then data will be completely lost as in is then held in an indecipherable form. However, some special tools have been developed that can recover such encrypted or damaged tables - with the prerequisite authorization by the owner of the data.

The table recovery service is done on a no-fix, no-fee basis. Generally, a preview of the table(s) can establish the degree to which they can be recovered and the time that would be involved in the recovery process, then on that basis an appropriate fee can be established.

Paradox Scripts

This is a service to recover old DOS Paradox Libraries back to source code. Clearly there is not much call for this today! But some old legacy applications often have libraries for which the original source scripts have been lost - or it is not certain which scripts generated them. This service can then be of use to convert those libraries back to scripts. As with the recovery of tables, this service is run on a no-fix no-fee basis.
